Premise[]
The Pound Puppies and friends start a restaurant business where patrons can eat food with their newly adopted puppies and kittens./Cooler and Howard meet two princes who look exactly like them.
Plot[]
Act 1: The Puppy Power Cafe[]
Part 1[]
(Cooler, Nose Marie and Howard are going over a blueprint)
Howard: Well, what do you two think?
Nose Marie: I think I like the design. But, what should we call the restaurant?
(Beamer enters)
Beamer: Hi, guys. What are you doing?
Howard: We're going over a blueprint for a restaurant where people can eat food with their newly adopted pets.
Beamer: That sounds cool. I would like to name the restaurant "Beamer's Buffet."
Nose Marie: Well, that sounds nice, but I was thinking that the name of the restaurant should be "Nose Marie's Home Cooking Inn".
Cooler: How about "Puppy Power Cafe"?
Howard: Say! That sounds like a good name. All right then, the Puppy Power Cafe will be the name of the restaurant.
(Later, there is a construction crew working on the restaurant)
Cooler: In no time at all, the Puppy Power Cafe will be a sucess.
Cooler: We gotta think up of some new items for a menu. I have one: Cooler's Kitchen Sink.
Howard: Cooler's Kitchen Sink?
Cooler: Yeah, it's a hamburger with ketchup, mustard, cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and secret sauce. (To the audience) Secret sauce sold separately. Onions not included.
Howard: Oh. What's the secret sauce?
Cooler: I would tell you, but it's a secret.
(Cooler laughs. Nose Marie enters.)
Nose Marie: How about this special item: Nose Marie's Southern Fried Salad.
Howard: Interesting. Now, if we want have these items made, we're going to need a chef for our restaurant. Now, who can we hire for our chef?
(A familiar dog(Louie) enters.)
Louie: Did somebody say "chef"?
(Nose Marie notices Louie.)
Nose Marie: Louie!
(Nose Marie hugs Louie.)
Nose Marie: I haven't seen you since the baking contest.
Louie: Oui. It is so good to see you again, mon ami.
Cooler: Hey, who's your friend?
Nose Marie: This is Louie. Remember him?
Cooler: Oh! Now I remember. You're Nose Marie's mentor.
Louie: Oui. Oui, I am. I am also more than happy to be your chef at ze Puppy Power Cafe.
Cooler: Thank you, Louie.
Louie: Anytime, Cooler. I will get started with zero food making as soon as possible.
