Penelope is a beautiful pekingnese with grey-tan fur and pure blond hair. She is usually seen wearing a light pink shirt, a magenta skirt, and a blue dog collar with a yellow tag.
Personality[]
Penelope cares about Cooler as well as her family. She doesn't like being called a liar when Nose Marie accused Penelope of making up the Wagga Wagga incident.
History[]
The Destruction of Wagga Wagga<Episode 10: Wagga Wagga>[]
Before Wagga Wagga was destroyed by Captain Slaughter, Penelope used to be the star singer at Cooler's Cafe. Along with Cooler and Howler, Penelope escaped from Captain Slaughter. When her boyfriend is nowhere to be found, Penelope joined a group that vows to rescue all the captured citizens of Wagga Wagga. It was then that she married Danny and gave birth to three puppies.
The Rescue from Katrina's Fur Factory[]
Penelope, while running from Captain Slaughter, rushed to Holly's Puppy Pound for help. There, she met her old friends from Wagga Wagga. But the reunion turned sour when Cooler was still upset after what happened. After Penelope explained the situation to Cooler, she was kidnapped by Captain Slaughter. The Pound Puppies arrived at Katrina's Fur Factory and rescued all the citizens of Wagga Wagga, including Penelope and her family. She is now adopted.

Penelope is a talented singer, as seen in Cooler's flashback.
Trivia[]
- Neither Penelope nor Wagga Wagga are seen or mentioned again for the remainder of the TV Series.
- Linda Gary, who provided the voice of Penelope, was known for her roles as Grandma Longneck in The Land Before Time film series and as Teela and the Sorceress in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe until her death on October 5, 1995.
- Like Cooler, Penelope was presumably born in Wagga Wagga.
