Boredom Gas is a powerful, non-toxic chemical weapon invented by Captain Slaughter.

Boredom Gas has a very sweet, alluring smell. Anyone who smells it will be drawn to it. But after a few sniffs, the victim becomes stiff as a board and falls to the ground. They then become so literally bored that they can't move, their eyes don't move or blink, and no matter what anyone says or does, they respond with a dull, monotone, drawn out "Booooorrrrriiiiinnnnng", no matter how interesting it would normally be.
To cure Boredom Gas, someone must spray the victim with a perfume made from a rare flower. The smell is said to be so interesting, that it will snap the victim out of their boredom.
The villains used the chemical on the heroes to keep them out of the way. Fortunatley, Dumbo, a stupid but brave dog was able to avoid the gas, find out the cure and save his friends. The heroes then take revenge on the villains by secretly putting it into the villains drinks.
The gas was later used on canine celebrity Justin Timberwolf so Igor could impersonate him and to protect Cooler and Nose Marie during their wedding.
